Welcome to the 13th Caheragh Scout group website!

Well 2011 has been a fantastic year with the Scouts and Cubs getting up to loads of activity's 2 of our venture Scouts headed to the World Jamboree in Sweden and were patrol leaders there.
The scout section all 4 of them participated in all the held County events and came 5th overall in the county shield event.
The Cub section also had a good year with a good camp before and at the county cub camp.
This season has got off to a great new start with an open day in September and lots of new Scouters,Scouts,Cubs,Beavers and a Venture joining the group. also we are glad to announce that our Beaver section is staring up again in November after a long break.
One of our ventures is heading off to Botswana next year to help building houses there and is actively fund raising for the that trip. .
We are a fairly remote based group with a great camp site and facilitys just beside the Ilen river in West Cork
