Maybe they might recognise it who knows.... Lets keep hoping!!!! Corn does this mean anything for the development of the site?? Cheers and good Scouting on Scouttalk, Poncho
Kevin ,Ang, if I were to guess I would say NO! absolutely not! Cron has met people at Scouting Ireland, some of whom loved the scouttalk site concept and wanted to incorporate it, others did not want anything to do with it as it was not their brainchild! Scouttalk site has the uniqueness of being available to everyone, and everyone's point of view providing they are member s of Scouting Ireland. Of course there is a necessity for an official scout site for international activity, formal forms , and so on.....which scouttalk does not, and cannot supply. Therefore there is a real need for the scout.ie site....but there is also room for scouttalk as the more social end of scouting and I think the two should should hand in hand. Cron does not even try to have 'official' stuff on his website......that all belongs to scouts.ie, but scouts.ie should also recognise the product that scouttalk .ie has to offer.......and don't go near pinching the scouttalk idea!
