ScoutTalk Alerts Checker

This is a small program (884KB) that can be run from your computer to check your alerts without signing in to ScoutTalk! Just give the program your username and password and you can check your alerts with one click or the program can do it automatically at regular intervals. There is no install required, just download using the link below and you're away!

Instructions:
1. Click the download link below and save the file somewhere handy (like your desktop!)
2. Open the downloaded file and unpack it by simply dragging AlertsChecker.exe onto your desktop background.
3. Run the program (AlertsChecker.exe) and enter your ScoutTalk username and password when prompted.
4. Now you can just double click the program any time you like to check your alerts. No usernames or passwords are needed from now on. You don't even need to open your browser!

Handy Image resizing:

This is a handy addon for windows users that allows you to resize a bunch of images from the right click menu in any folder. The best size for uploading to ScoutTalk is between 500 - 1000px in any direction.

Picasa - free photo software from Google Logo

All photos uploaded to the web must be a small size so they cannot come straight from your digital camera. This amazing free software from Google lets you touch up, resize and export your photos ready for ScoutTalk. It is very easy to use and is highly recommended for absolute beginners to advanced users. Even if you are a Photoshop expert, we guarantee that you will find this program handy. It really brings your photo collections to life!

Instructions:
1. Click the download link (grey bar) below and install the Picasa Software from the Google Pack
2. When you first run Picasa, it will search your computer for photographs. You can disable this option in the Tools>Folder Manager menu if you wish.
3. Select all the photos you want to prepare for ScoutTalk by holding CTRL and clicking each photo once.
4. Click Export at the bottom right of the screen.
5. Click browse and select Desktop.
6. Click the Resize To radio button and drag the slider to 640 pixels.
7. Click OK!
8. Finally, upload your photos to ScoutTalk as normal from the new folder Picasa has created on your desktop.
